Backing up profile in Tor Browser Bundle

Is there a way for me to backup my profile in Tor Browser Bundle so each time I update it I don't lose all my bookmarks, passwords to sites I visit, and re-installing add-ons (such as Ad-block, etc.)? There are tools for this for the Firefox web browser, but does anyone here know if there's one for TBB, or if not if this can be done manually? It's a pain in the neck to have to waste time re-installing my ad-ons, & re=applying the settings every time I get an alert on the "Are You Using Tor" site that there's a security update.

Thank you for your help.

Just save contents of your ./Tor Browser/FirefoxPortable/Data somewhere.

Or you can use -profile switch in Firefox to specify directly where to store all browser data.

Please refer to https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/pr ... -user-data for more information.

Also you can google firefoxportable2ndprofile to check out how multiple profiles could be run at the same time. Tor Browser Bundle doesn't use multiple profiles by default, but you can easily install them yourself. After that all of your upgrades would affect only main profile, not 2nd and 3rd ones.

Does the previous post reply apply to mac systems because I can't find this in my system > /Tor Browser/FirefoxPortable/Data.

in fact i can't find any other files or folders with tor in the name except the tor application itself.

No, on Mac system all paths are different.

You can find your current profile by
Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Open Containing Folder
