Tor- PROBLEM?

What does that mean, and how to make Opera 12 use Socks4 and Socks5 connections??:

"[Tue 15. Apr 11:59:45 2014] Potentially Dangerous Connection! - One of your applications established a connection through Tor to "164.138.218.62:80" using a protocol that may leak information about your destination. Please ensure you configure your applications to use only SOCKS4a or SOCKS5 with remote hostname resolution."

This is from the Message log of Vidalia.

Also how to force the browser to use HTTPS everywhere, I cannot install "HTTPS everywhere" addon on Opera12!

Are Https and fonts crucial for revealing your identity???

The Tor Project advises against using any browser except their customized version of Firefox (Tor Browser), but in any case, I haven't used Opera in a long time so I'm afraid I can't be much help. You might be better off asking in a forum about Opera, assuming one still exists.

For the last question, no I wouldn't consider https or fonts crucial for protecting your identity.

Yeah, I know, but I prefer Opera because its faster, and consumes less CpU. also I kinda customized it.

Well, I found out that Privoxy - http://sourceforge.net/projects/ijbswa/ ... %20(stable)/, can hep me on the DNS issue.

I installed it, configured the proxy settings, but s.th. is wrong. I cannot load any page - get constant error messages- 'connection refused'.

Also I noted that Privoxy's scrreen is completely white-blank. Is this normal? In the manual they say, that there should be log messages, but in mine - NOTHING!

DOES anybody have a clue of what might have gone wrong?????
