Google Impossible to use with Tor

I can go to the Google main page, but any time I try to search, I get hit with an infinite series of Captchas. I enter each one correctly, but to no avail. Basically Google is unusable. I was already trying to move away from Google to duckduckgo since don't respect privacy, but I still need to do some searches there. I tried "change identity" a few times but no change - still blocked.

Is it just unusable with TOR?

The new version of Tor has the new search engine "build in". It uses Google's database, but without big brother watching you. It's called: Disconnect.me and can be found here: https://search.disconnect.me/
