I'm currently a newbie user of Tor Browser (last build 4.5.3). I encountered a warning this day which I'm not sure whether I must ignore it or not.
Context : I registered an email address at some email service that I believe is popular. Everything went smooth. (I must point out that I created 4 addresses in a row , restarting the TOR Browser between each new email creation).
Then some minutes later, I came back to this website in order to check inbox mails for the first address I created, but even before I got the home page displayed, I got this warning from TOR Browser :
"This Connection is Untrusted
You have asked Tor Browser to connect securely to , but we can't confirm that your connection is secure.
Normally, when you try to connect securely, sites will present trusted identification to prove that you are going to the right place. However, this site's identity can't be verified.
What Should I Do?
If you usually connect to this site without problems, this error could mean that someone is trying to impersonate the site, and you shouldn't continue.
uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is only valid for *. (Error code: ssl_error_bad_cert_domain)"
(I replaced the email service domain name with )
Then some minutes later (and a few relaunch of tor browser), i could access the home page without the warning.
I didn't find information about this message therefore I'm asking here.
Thanks for any ideas.
