TOR and Flash Player

last year
Hi guys,
This is my first post on this forum and I apologize if my question has already been asked.
I installed TOR browser to watch few french programs blocked here in the USA, but I cannot watch the videos and Flash player is installed successfully. When I go to the Preferences, Security Settings, Disable browser plugins (such as Flash) is checked by default. I clear it, but TOR keeps checking it be default and it prevents videos from playing. Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks and bless you all.

Same here, we are using version 1.6.10.0 maintainer Mike Perry. I even created a folder in the DATA folder called plugins(and put all the flash macromedea files in there), but the checked box still re-appears by default.
So I just wanted to know does this happen to all versions of TOR ? or only this one ?

This has proxy options you will have to configure before using if you want it to go through your Tor session:

http://rg3.github.com/youtube-dl

There is a list on their site on which sites are supported.

"voteforpedro"

Thank you.
I downloaded "python", installed it then youtube.dl.....
When I go on you tube, I can not read video or even dl it...how do you do ?
Maybe because I am using "Noscript" : "Hello, you seem to have JavaScript turned off. Please enable it to see search results properly. "
Is it possible to use "noscript" and to read video or not at all ?
Thanks.

Flash is very insecure and vulnerable. There are many ways people can expoit Flash to get your real identity, so using Flash in Tor is like having glass windows in tank.. You can get it working with Tor, but it is highly unrecommended to do so.
